  • 96 months / 8 years of professional business experience within the past 15 years
  • 84 months / 7 years of portfolio management experience within the past 15 years

Set B Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher (or global equivalent)

  • 96 months / 8 years of professional business experience within the past 15 years
  • 48 months / 4 years of portfolio management experience within the past 15 years

Set C Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher from a GAC accredited program

  • 96 months / 8 years of professional business experience within the past 15 years
  • 36 months / 3 years of portfolio management experience within the past 15 years

Maintaining your PfMP® certification

Earning your PfMP certification is a big step — maintaining it shouldn't have to be. Continuing education is core to PMI certification. PfMP holders need to earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) in each 3-year cycle to maintain certification. Each PDU represents one hour spent in:
